Electrical Resistivity Tomography

The ERT technique uses electrodes placed at regular intervals and connected by a cable to send high resolution electric signal into the ground and then precisely measure it. Each reading gives information about a specific point in the ground. The processing software EarthImager is used to process the data into images that reveal the different electric proprieties related to differences and changes in the ground. ERT can be used to obtain 2D images, 3D volumes or even 4D monitoring information.
